Change & Transitions
Merry Christmas!

This Christmas has a special meaning to my hubby and me as we have not decorated for the season in 2 years as we have been in constant transition. We moved 7 times in the last year, so opening our Christmas boxes have a very different meaning to us. We are home! It also signifies the end of a season of constant change and a settling into the new.

Transitions can be positive, but they usually mean change and movement. Change is hard, and movement requires intent and energy. There are emotions attached to any journey of change and transition even when we initiate the adventure. This season of change highlighted to us the importance of acknowledging the emotions and the difficulties within the journey of change that often gets unnoticed. Feelings are not acknowledged or expressed as the change is seen as positive, so why do we feel down or sad? Feelings are unpredictable and there is loss even in moving forward. Friends and family do not gather around as there is no crisis to navigate through. Unintentionally, one is left alone trying to move through the change journey.
We all need people to walk through our change journey with us, so the transition can evolve with as few wounds as possible and with energy to embrace the new.

Merry Christmas
I wish you a Merry Christmas & a season full of joyous moments to treasure. Be intentional, focus on blessings & the people around you!
